The normal walking day for the Strollers is the first Monday in the month but we may change the day if the first Monday is a Bank Holiday. Walks vary between 2.5 and 4 miles and, depending on the weather, the donning of waterproofs and sturdy footwear may be necessary as the terrain could be a bit muddy. The walks are not usually strenuous, however, the occasional hill may be encountered, (even in Norfolk)! Transport is usually available for those who do not drive and we try not to drive too far for the start of a walk.
Members of the group are encouraged to lead the walks and advance notice of each walk giving information as to time, location and the Leaders of the walk, is given on the Church Notice Boards.
The walks provide opportunities for discussions on a wide range of subjects and is an extension of the fellowship we have with each other on Sundays. We always end up at a tearoom, cafe, or pub for well earned refreshments after the walk.
If you haven't been with us before – give it a try, you'll enjoy it. Further information can be obtained from the current Leaders, Eddie and Una Seely or from any of the regular walkers
