'Celebrating Christ Together'
We would love for you to come and join us for our weekly Sunday service at 10.30am.
You can expect a warm welcome, worship, an impacting sermon and a friendly bunch of people gathering to learn more about God. We have lots of children in the church and they, as well as visiting families, are invited to children's groups part way through the service. After the service finishes, there will an be the opportunity for prayer if needed and refreshments will be served from the hatch.
We celebrate communion together on the first Sunday of the month and we occasionally have an All-Age service that begins with refreshments and children's activities at 10am (Please contact us to confirm the dates of the Reflective Communion & All-Age services).
If you have any questions about our Sunday Services or would like to know what is happening on the coming Sundays, please Contact Us for more information if the FAQ's below don't answer your question.
We would love for you to come and join us soon.
Where can I park?
You can park in the Community Centre car park on Sandringham Road or on the surrounding streets. There are also a number of pay & display car parks nearby.
What should I wear?
Please feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable in, people range in dress code from smart to casual.
What should I expect?
When you enter the chapel through the blue door to the rear, you’ll be met by people from the church who will welcome you and give you a notice sheet for the service (songbooks are also available).
You’re then welcome to find a free seat and don’t worry about sitting in someones regular spot, we don’t mind seeing things from a different perspective!
Our services usually include:
A time of worship (where we sing songs to Jesus),
Some announcements of what's coming up in the life of the church
Some Bible teaching that is relevant and can be applied to everyday life
A time of prayer
A collection/offering (please feel free to let the bag pass you by)
Communion - (the first Sunday of the month) - Please remain seated as communion is brought to you, if you do not wish to take part please let the communion pass you by
Lastly, we expect God to speak and work amongst us, so don’t be surprised if he speaks to you through the service too!
Will I have to do anything?
No, you’re welcome to just listen and sit quietly. We won’t make anyone pray, sing or say anything out loud. But you’re also welcome to join in.
What about children?
We encourage children to sit with their families during the first part of the service which usually includes a family talk and/or action song, we also have instruments available for them to play along with during the other songs.
After the first half of the service, the children are invited to our hall for Blue Crew (primary school aged group) where we have a team of people with resources to help the children learn more about being followers of Jesus.
There is also an unmanned Creche available throughout the service in this hall, but a parent/carer will need to remain with them.
On the first Sunday of the month, we take communion together before the children leave for their activities so they can witness or partake in communion (at their parent's discretion). Anyone is welcome to take communion as a sign of their faith in Christ’s death and resurrection.
What happens afterwards?
When the service finishes there are refreshments served from the kitchen. We love spending time worshipping God but we also enjoy spending time with each other and meeting visitors before heading home.
Are there audio copies of there service available?
Each Sunday the Service is recorded, for people unable to attend Church, the recording is available to download on this website, or is available on CD if you wish.
